DB connection failed

I have had probably a years worth of setting up private servers etc but not once i have come across a db that has given me this much trouble. I have found zszc 90 cap old school files i have checked the lines in the server file and certifications and dbconnect and none of it seems to work keeps coming up with DB connection failed on shard and gameserver i honestly don't have a clue can some please help me i bet its something small.

looks like you forgot to setup or setup wrong on the billing site... Can you show me your iis billing dbconnect.asp?

that means you did not set your IIS correctly... If you use other app to host website, for example Zend. Make sure Zend port is different port from your IIS port.

somewhere near the end of script in your server.cfg file should look something like this:

	Certification "25.100.143.100", 15882
	BILLING_SERVER_URL "http://yangc10.no-ip.org:8080/"
	CREST_FTP_URL "ftp://yangc10:testpassword@127.0.0.1/"
Certification : your local ip or hamachi ip
Billing: use no-ip to manage website with the IIS port. My IIS port is 8080. My Zend port is 80.
CREST FTP: the ftp login info

My IIS never had problems on my 130 cap server till now and i only play by myself =/

Can you locate your index.html that is located with the billing asp file? Need to know the location because it might be different from mine.

Mine might be at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\index.html, but yours might be different.

I think i got it working everything has loaded i just re-edited the files again and i have made it to opening the server (Finally) but there is something that is concerning me some quests failed to initiate which doesn't bother me but in shardmanager i get can find ref obj with this teleport (id numbers) there is like 15 of them
I am testing client now.

These files feel different they are oldschool Dr abdelfattah (Can't spell his name sorry) these is setup much differently the outside stuff odbc, iis is still the same but inside the database is sooo much different, accounts, ips, billing server is setup differently which i got working thank you <3

Depressing news everytime i load client it just sits with the loading banner / nvm it was the loader...
