Monitor Problem: Lines appearing

Hey,

I was watching a youtube video and suddenly some lines showed up on the monitor, I don't know what happened to it. This has happened a few minutes ago, I'm really worried..

Any help would be appreciated, thank you. PS: Warranty has expired a long time ago.

1. Did you try to reboot your screen?
What happend? Do you have the same error?

2. Did you tried to check the cables?
Do you have a spare cable to try?

3. What are your computer-specs?
What Graphic-card are you using?
Do you have the recent driver for the card?

1) Nothing happened

2) No

3) MSI R9 280X 3GB ver (it's has no issue, i made sure)

Do you have the possibility to try it via a different connection type? Switch between DVI, VGA, HDMI if you have any other cables that are supported by your monitor + PC. Try it with some different device, for example a PS3 or XBOX.
