Does anyone know a guide or thread to setup a second game server?

I have been trying for months off and on to setup a 2 gameserver i just wish there was some sort of guide? And no i am not doing this to open a public server just wanna play with some friends.

Why do you need a 2nd gameserver if you are playing with friends? Just decrease the mob spawns!

Yeah but i enjoy the grinding i literally have ISRO rates on my server and its 130 cap. Would be beneficial for the 130 cap since some areas like maongs, mujigis, bunwhangs are absolutely dead.

download the template of the certification. Go throughly on changing the ip address and the sql host server.

I have gotten that far its just virtual machine won't connect to SQL

Have you opened the ports between the two machines? Firewall rule which allows all the ports for the VPS IP?

Yeah i tried that maybe i did it wrong =\ i'm surprised there is no guide making a second game server :(

and they're in the same network? if so, you shouldn't have issue trying to connect to it... have the second machine install a sql client and try connecting to your sql server and see if it connect. Thats the only way to troubleshoot.
