Pretty much what Jamie said. It's all free and long been available. It's the work that needs to be put into making it "reasonably playable" and not just "running" that kills it.
If it's just "for friends", i'd invest some time with setting up [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] on some box, since one of the major roadblocks for most people is always getting it to work properly when facing "the internet".

Hey, I wanted to create a server just for my own or for me and my friend to just have some fun in the game but whenever I click any of the links they don't seem to redirect properly, when I click on the downloads it just takes me to the main "mega" website and when I click on the tutorial link it redirects me with "*****".
Edit. Anyway I've just worked out the tutorial link but it seems that there is more work needed for this than I expected and only planned to fool around for some time so creating this will take waaaaaaaay longer for me as I am not that advanced.
