uninstall Python, then go into C: find the left over Python27 folder, delete it.
Reinstall Python.
Try game.
BTW, insure the rar server file is unblocked before extracting it.
Right click, click properties, see if it's blocked, if so unblock, re extract it, but delete the last folder you extracted first.

Here, follow this guide, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
once they all appear, just put a 0 in
<motionblurenable Type="int">0</motionblurenable> if not already there

Here is a third party advanced graphics settings for the game, which was even approved by EA themselves.
Much more simple than to manually set things using said guide.

RGhost

Same here "error 13"
Just have to deal with it until it is fixed I suppose.

Berkay is a smart guy, I am sure he will have this worked out eventually.

From the readme:
Quote:
FATAL ERROR 13: Couldn't make a stable connection to the server.
This means Firewall, Antivirus, Broken Java or Broken Python. Disable the firewall(s), disable the antivirus, install the latest java after uninstalling the old ones, install the python using the instructions from the README after uninstalling the old one.

I done all that and still the game crashes every 10 mins or so with the error 13 message.
No clue what is causing it to loose connection on my win7 but on winxp, it runs perfectly.

I assume Java has to be the problem, but not sure what to do about it.
Might not even be Java, who the hell knows.
Just glad that I can at least run the game on my winxp.
Thanks for beta 1.8, it's fun.
:D
