Dear elitepvpers!
Together with a small team of enthusiasts we are making a game about the birth and growth of society, from a small group of ancient farmers struggling to survive the frontier, to a huge modern metropolis. It is a game about history, democracy, economy, and social issues that we are facing today, framed in a way of the game, so that they become obvious to anyone playing it. The goal of the game is to teach and enlighten people by opening their eyes on some of the existing problems of today’s society.
Playing the game you get to help the people discover advances in agriculture and industry and watch how these inventions change society, and allow some citizens to focus on art and science instead of gathering food. You also get to watch as a well-meaning Democracy is conquered by a new consolidated upper-class wielding the power of mass media. As a player, you can either do something about it, or use it to your advantage!
This is going to be a non-profitable game with no ads and no in-app purchases. My team and I want to make a difference by making a free and open-source game that anyone could enjoy and learn from.
We have just launched a Kickstarter campaign to try to fund our game. It would really help us greatly if you could help us spread the message across and let more people know about the initiative. It is really going to take you around 1 minute, but would help us greatly.
