How to unlock "Maximum" Graphics Options ?

When i enter the graphics options of the game displays a message stating "Maximum visual detail options are disabled because you have not selected the maximum download size option in the launcher". How can I solve this problem? I remember that the original version had launcher but here there is none.

Somewhere among these threads is the DL for both Max graphics and the Reg version of the game.
I just woke up so I dont have the energy to locate it for you.
It is probable in the tools/file everything thread ro perhaps even the DEV thread as well.

Because those hd mods are better then the maximum visual detail options of the game.

It's really a matter of preference.

The only difference if I recall between [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] was the texture size (and hence texture detail)

HD mod (from what I read, and Photoshop experience) usually means increasing the size and/or contrast of the textures

For all I care, you can use texmod to create an LSD version of NFS:W.

I used a custom setting of max+ sans motion blur in usersettings.xml. (Look up the guide on the EA forums and SAVE THE PAGE in case the board goes **poof**)

Since I've never had to re-download it, all I can say is use search, and learn through trial and error
cause EA is cracking down on any remaining v1616 clients that are on the internet now.

i use full nfs world client with hd textures but its smilar to normal

There is also a Mod that EA even approved of usage that gives flavorful option abilities to the graphics settings of the game that are not included in the games graphics options.
Not sure if it's better than the Mods others have shared.

Not sure if it works with the offline version, but I see no reason why it would not

Forgot to mention that you must have the full graphics version of the game installed and use this mod before loading the game for the options to take full affect.
What makes it so useful is the fact that even if you have a poor graphics card, you can set the options to get the most out of your eye candy, while not loosing performance.
Trial and error in the settings.
