[Question] How To Open .paz files?

Hello Everyone,

I did not know where this can go, so I thought I ask it here. So some games have a file extension of .paz.

I am just curious, what software allows these file types to opened and looked at and also saving and editing and what not. If you can let me know, that would be great. Thanks!

The fastest and easiest way to open your PAZ file is to double-click it. This allows
the intelligence of Windows to decide the correct software application to open your
PAZ file. In the case that your PAZ file doesn't open, it is highly likely that you do
not have the correct software application installed on your PC to view or edit PAZ file
extensions. If your PC opens the PAZ file, but it's the wrong application, you'll need
to change your Windows registry file association settings. In other words, Windows
is associating PAZ file extensions with the wrong software program.

I don´t know for what .paz stands but if it is something that is packed, try to open it with WinRAR (not kidding). WinRar can open a lot of unkown packed file extensions. Or atleast you can try to view the file with a Hex Editor, probably you can read the strings or so.

if its from a game i guess they're encrypted.

it is just a encryption based file. you can choose any ending of files. my server runs with .gen encrypted files for example :D

Its actually Black Desert Online. Trying to figure out how some have opened them lol
