Has Anybody Tried This?

Has anybody tried making a ce script that changes your party number? That way, you could solo df or dungeons? If nobody has thought to try this but knows how, could you help me get started?

I tried making a solo pt, searching for the value 1, then adding another person and searching for 2, then kicking him and searching 1, etc. but that didn't seem to work...is it even possible?

I was thinking of trying something similar. It's annoying to PT noobs everytime you need to enter a DG...

I agree. I'll see what I can come up with...

with CE its not working for me i still need 2 clients, but a shopping char in loa is not that bad ^^
but for abbys i need 3 clients ... not that great ..

Someone like that seems like it would only be possible with winhex if not serverside.

if it can be done by editing the data.pak's then it can be done with CE.

Beat me to that one xD. CE is just convient for most people xD

well, I tried searching for unknown value 4bytes and then just increasing and decreasing, but when I get down to only a few values, they're all like 4871326 or something crazy.

I also tried searching for text, 1 2 and 3 but that didn't work either...

any ideas as to how to find this value?

when i searched 1,2,1,2,1,2
i got 2 adresses but no matter how much modding still no results
but they are the right adresses because i would inv them and it would change to 2
then kick change to 1

and the limit on the dung part is server sided

i think it might just be impossible (maybe packet editing can help?)
but even if that worked it would be lots of effort to do each time

so not really worth it

Sorry guys, this is a server-side value. You can't change it on the client side. If you could, then you could enter DF and Expeditions solo too.

What your looking at is party size. Thats not what hes looking for. He wants his first player to occupy the second slot. The way the server reads the value is the highest player number in the party. So if you have 3 people in a party, the third player has the party number 3, which is the highest, so thats what the server reads. What hes trying to do is make his only character the second or third slot, therefore assigning his player number 3, leading to the server reading it as a third player, making it a three player party with only one person.

Honestly, I dont think its possible, its feasible, but unlikely. The way you guys have been searching for is probably impossible simply because your not editing really anything except party size. If theres a way to rotate your player number down, it would be difficult to search for because the starting value is ALWAYS 1 to start out with. So you have to keep searching for unchanged value until you just get a few '1s'. Good luck guys, Im not going to try because I dont think its likely.

I was looking into this 2 months ago when GH patched out the dgs. I inspected the packets being sent and received and it seems you can't fool the server by having more than 1 member in your party to solo dgs cause is server sided. When someone going to join your party client sending every second a packet to server to check if your party member still in that party or checking new coordinates and current map of your party members.
