[Mod Help] Data Folder isn't updating

11/29/2009 08:14 Jacqueline#1
I've been using DATA Packer to update my Data folder, it worked wonders before but now it hasn't been helping me at all. Back in the old days though I didn't even need DATA Packer to have my data folder automatically update itself.

I'm current using v52 IJL15.dll (From Tiara/MAMP), but my data folder still doesn't make changes (I have my mods and everything, just that SOME things don't update).

What I can change:
-PMG swap on items/clothing
-itemdb.xml changes and such

What I can't do:
-Remove things from my folder such as the Human AI xml files. I'm done doing auto-instruments, now I want to do auto-healing, or even sometimes remove all AI so I can use auto-combat for other reasons.

-Changing my Persian transformation pmg to Siren. I double checked to see if the pmg was damaged or incorrect but it was not, so definitely it's the data folder problem.

Additional Info:
I use Jinsu v180. Both "Read Data Folder First" on or off does not help the fix.

In my package folder I have files 51_full.pack and 51_to_52.pack. Perhaps I'm missing something called 52_full.pack if it exists (would appreciate someone to share if exists)

Main Question:
What else could I try to do to make my Data folder update? I've tried in every possible way I know of and I'm just frustrated.

you could make sure you have all the needed folders, or the folders spelled correctly.
could have the folders in the wrong order, or the files named wrong.

And what do you mean you cant remove things from the folders?

I'm pretty sure they're all spelled correctly and in the right folders.

What I mean by that is: If I remove a certain file (or remove the whole data folder's contents), the next time I load my client it will still have everything, no change. DATA Packer doesn't seem to be helping me these days.

Edit: I think there might be something wrong with my current .pack files since I've used the third button on DATA Packer without knowing exactly what it does (I thought it was a button for reset). If someone could share their updated and clean .pack files, I would much appreciate that.

-Uploading Clean .pack Files-

In the meantime why don't you download the English data packer (Translated By Serif) that I attached.

DATA Packer.exe Virus Scan:

Ugh my Internet was out for a few days and since then it's been really laggy... I'll try to resolve the massive lag and upload the .pack file.
