private servers

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We have a team of professional programmers working day and night for the pass 3 months to make this work. We started this project after getting many good response and demands from people all over the world regarding Twelve Sky 1. We have a lot of people invested in this project with many GMs from all over the world working together. Hence, we can't just give all our hard work away. There's a saying goes, "if you're good at something,do not do it for free." Moreover, we are proud to say that our chargers are not as high as compared to other servers. We are focused on catering our server to everyone, so that they could afford it and enjoy the game as well.

Yet another server that wants to monetize ts1 i mean is it really too much to ask to have some fun pvp servers of ts1-ts2. So that we all can enjoy the game instead of having to worry about if some guy is more maxed than ourselves. The item mall the enchant system its a screwed up system. I see so many private servers out there of other games with none of this stuff cmon guys i think we deserve better than this dont you think.

Your whole topic is confusing, can't seem to understand if you are doing an announcement or quoting someone.

I am talking about both the NSG server and the Zenith 12 Sky server. The above quote was a response i got from the admin of Zenith Sky it's a private message i sent them.

Looks like Zenith Twelvesky is hosted by only 1 person not several developers.
Also they straight copied their website from mayngames, very unprofessional.

I'd advice people to stick to NSG Twelve sky 1, since NSG will merge with infinitysky later on. For the people who are not familiar with infinitysky; infinity sky is Twelve sky 1 but recoded from scratch, lots of improvements overall much better than the current servers.

Also according to their reply on your private message it looks like they only do it for the money whilst NSG do it for the player base. (If you know the people behind NSG you would know).

'Monetize' let's be clear here, no server can run for long time if no1 is paying for it. No1 wanna waste their own money (and we are talking about money and not few bucks for a quality service grade) for months to have a server running, there are people who work to keep the server up and running with no problems, of course the higher quality of the server the higher costs it has. Now we are not asking people to donate money, it's up to players to help a stable server running or not.
We are not looking for cash and no-one is doing this for cash. All the money donated will go to the server-costs funding to keep it running for as long we can.

I've never heard about this before, until couple days back. I have my doubts on their 'hard-work, 24/7 for the past 3 months'. In few days we could get a server up and running with a forum. Like I said in my first line, we've got exciting news upcoming which we will announce in our forum.

And I wouldn't trust their so called "unhackable game". If I've learned something is that nothing is impossible.

Completing my argument on the unhackable game:

MyDoomJr who are you in the development team at NSG i am already familiar with Troy and Sema and I chat with them sometimes on Skype. Send me a pm on here and ill add you to my skype too. I just dont want everyone knowing my skype lol. We can chat there if you want to.

I am part of the staff from NextStepGaming.

Although most people won't recognize me as I've never played Twelve Sky 1 before, I've been a Twelve Sky 2 player for years.

My current function within the team is: Public Relations, although I am also a Technician Support (help people with their game launching issues for example), and Q&A (submit peoples ideas & reports to the team). I actually choose my position :) I try to help in everything I can.

I would like to see this conversation continue on then. The idea that there is a 12 sky or 12 sky 2 private server alone would generate the money needed to keep the server running. People would donate to the project and everyone would be happy. The setup given by both troy and sema is not necessary plus it is alienating players once again to pay money to the server so they can have good gears and stuff. I want to see everyone having fun out in yang or anywhere in the game, and having an equal opportunity playing the game. This is also my main reason for wanting more private servers out there so that this sort of thing can be combated using competition by other servers for players. I do not like splitting up the community but this sort of policy is similar to the normal published versions we are already familiar with now. EVERYONE needs to have equal rights to having whatever they so desire in game but from what I have witnessed it is just not possible at this time. I also think that both Troy and Sema are not out to make a cash cow out of ts1 but i do disagree with it being restricted to one server for everyone.

Could you be more specific? What setup? I will repeat our Item Mall will be changed, it's just that wasn't a priority in the closed beta. If that's what you mean. Also most of the items in the item-mall can be obtained via in-game, or am I wrong? Although later we could try add more ways to obtain it.

When Sema made the 12sky server europe open thread for the first time, he had put in RED color somewhere in his topic: "BRING YOUR FRIENDS YO YANGGOK AND LETS HAVE FUN" something similiar like that.

I answered this above. We are not a business-type company however I am on the professionalism type relationship. I want our project to be serious and it is, and not a scam wise/milking cows party. Being honest with you we are getting things done with time. People from our team are working in multiple tasks as we speak.

I would like to tell you what we plan and so on, but I won't yet. We'll be giving an update soon about our current state etc.

Once Open Beta starts, there is no more giveaways or GM selling things. Everyone will be able to get anything that they desire in the game, although I cannot promise you it will be easy, otherwise it would suck. Play a month be fully maxed and than what? Welcome to Twelve Sky 2 all over again?

You are right, no1 is doing this for cash. (I am starting to repeat this sentence many times, making it look like we are, but we are not honestly.)

The main point of hosting this server is to keep the whole community together enjoying the same game as everyone else, what's the point of having 50 servers after all? So 10 play on 1, another 10 play on 2? Will you have fun like that? Might aswell buy Diablo III or download Path of Exile if you want only to grind and farm in a few group of people or RPG.

Who wants to seriously spend loads of time just grinding your character to the specific level to pvp. I certainly do not and I am sure there is other people who would love to skip that crap to get to the nice juicy fun parts of pvp. 1x-2x is not even cool like seriously I would be fine having a maxed character and just fighting and stuff with people. I am aware that some people like to grind and get their gears and shit but some people just want to have a good old time pvping whether it is ts2 or ts1. I would like to see a command or menu in game allowing you to be m33 you can customize your character of course with character points. What your suggesting is going to take months and i really don't feel like wasting all that time sitting with no autopill to make another maxed character it's not my part of the game. I respect other people if they want to do that but after you have done it so many times on multiple versions you kind of just want to be there pvping you know what i mean. The enchant system you haven't even addressed but you may know nothing about how it works.

Instant m33 with maxed out gears would ruin the game.

We will be gradually rising the rates up obviously. It's not like we want to have people grinding for years either.

What you are asking is insanely crazy, basically you want to have the chance to create a character maxed level, maxed gears and than go around and kill people who were grinding to obtain what they have. Might aswell give everyone GM..........

No it won't happen.

I do know very well about the enchanting system, after a % I believe 60% the item can break, it's where protection charm comes in... The success rate depends on your character luck, more the luck (garuda's song skill increases it) more chance you've got to succeed.

EDIT: Twelve Sky 2 is like that... It's easier to max due to cash-shop milking, once you are maxed after few months you stop playing the game because it's boring.
