hi guys. I have been having a problem with this quest a lot, I don't get it ... it says add up the numbers when they give you 5 number like this "7-9" how am I suppose to add that? and than they say either its higher than the number or its lower.. its really confusing please somebody help if they did it could they make examples on how they finished one of their tries ?

It's a guessing game. So basically they tell you ABOUT how many grains are on the corn. So for instance if you get 1-3, 7-9, 7-9, 7,9, 4-6 you have 26-30 grains. They want you to guess EXACTLY how many grains are on the corn. You have 3 chances to figure it out. If you get them all wrong, you have to start over...

i allways pick the number in the middle if he sayd 1-3 i take 2
and when he says 7-9 i take 8 and add they together.. .. first time i did it correct answer was 19

It wasn't designed to give you an exact number, that would make getting prizes far too easy.

For example you are given 1-3, 1-3, 4-6, 4-6, 7-9, you would add the lower of the pairs togeather, aswell as the highers, which will give you the range which somwhere inbetween lies the number you are looking for.

1 + 1 + 4 + 4 + 7 = 17
3 + 3 + 6 + 6 + 9 = 27

So the number that is 'correct' is any number above 17, and under 27.

some times the range is wrong i add them up and it still higher or lower than the range this quest is screwed

I'll Give u the right way to do this
First of all u will need :
1- Pen & Paper
2- Calculator
And do this :
1- Write the two given numbers and the number between .. For Example : The Numbers are 7 & 9 , u Must write 8 beside them on the note
do that with all Five Given Numbers till u have something like this
7 9 8
7 9 8
1 3 2
4 6 5
7 9 8
2- Bring ur calculator ( it's the toughest part ) , then try to calculate a number from each column , For Example : 7+9+2+6+7= 31
if this number wasn't right he will tell u that this number is Less\More Than the actual number , For Example He told u that the number is More Than the Number , Calculate the numbers again Lets say : 7+7+2+4+7= 27 TRY IT!
and he will tell u that the number is Less than the actual numbers if it wasn't right
So the number lies between 31 and 27 So the number will be 30 , 29 , 28
and one of them is the right Number ;)

1. Write down the numbers Number - Number
