I heard from a lot of my friends and customers that scamming is now happening every 5 out of 10 trade which is really alarming.
I thought will let you guys know how and when you can spot and try and avoid them. If I miss out something here, Just update it in or let me know and I can update it.
* Do not talk over Skype with anyone, Whatever the reason is. There is no reason which the seller/buyer wouldn't want to talk here on Epvp. "Epvp only considers comms here on their website no other"
* VERY VERY IMPORTANT - If the seller or buyer is new or with less TBM's, Please go ahead with a trusted middleman. That 5-10euros of the middleman fee's can save you much more in-fact it becomes easy and traceable.
* Before you talk or even a thread is posted, Verify the seller. Check their feedback are from genuine buyers or sellers. PM the previous buyers/sellers via elitepvp message system so you at least get a vague idea who you might be dealing with.
* Always 0 or less than 5TBM's are not scammers because there might be some genuine people there as well who are wanting to trade or start of new.
* Be vary of a very lucrative offer, More for less always is not good.
* Even for the boosts etc, There are a lot of people who use scripts etc so do not get your account boosted unless you are duo'quing because atleast you will log into your own account rather then someone else logging in and using scripts which eventually gets banned.
* Do not worry about receiving a -ve from someone here who has scammed you, You can always explain that why do you have negative and you can raise your concern with epvp as well, Admins are really helpful when you need them but only if you follow the terms and conditions.
* When you buy an account, Make sure you use your own credit card to purchase RP on the account, Reason is simple. If the seller wanting to recover it - You can claim your money back from your bank plus you can get the account banned which is very easy and is taken by RIOT very seriously and high priority. * Use screen recording software to keep a detailed recording of the chat + discussion going on with the user. Always ask the seller to do video chat, Take a screenshot so atleast you have their face and then you can let social media to do the rest. (Please be vary - Do not post these unless you have 100% proof including video recordings etc where in you have got scammed.
* Ask for sellers/buyers facebook account, Verify the account is genuine (its easy again with common sense)
* DO NOT SEND MONEY AS FRIENDS AND FAMILY ON PAYPAL, Pay the extra fees to the seller but always mark it as purchase/goods
Some concerning dialogues/things said by the scammers (There are heaps but just as an example).
* I previously got scammed using a MM
* MM was a scammer and I do not trust anyone
* I quit the game and busy with my life and want to sell it (This is what the reason is for a lot of them however being a gamer and player they have not traded here on EPVP is something not digestible) There might be some exceptions though lol....
* I need urgent money to pay my bills which are outstanding, Guys come on. Common sense here please....

This may sound harsh but being honest I would like to tell this, The scammers I believe have very bad upbringing and do not have any values for life/karma. I am glad that my upbringing is not like this low life scammers/noobs so that I would wish/want/think of scamming someone.
