Reply on .Mio for closing the thread.

You shouldn't have closed this thread, everybody was positive, and if simply reporting would fix it, why did all my reports not have worked at all? And I'm sure some of my reports must have been correct.

Another issue I find annoying is we never get updated on stuff.
Couldn't you guys tell us why people get banned if it's nothing personal, and why mods got demodded?

I've talked a bit around, and here is how I got it:

leavemealone got demodded because of inactivity.
emme got demodded because of some people didn't like him around here, apparantly you have to be loved by everybody to get mod.

mio got modded because she asked for it (this is according to john dread)

korvacs is being thought of being modded, some people want him and some does not.

Wow, there's one group with all power in this section right now.
Not going to tell you guys who, anybody that has been around here for longer knows who I'm talking about.

here's what i think.

.mio should get demodded.

korv get modded.

emme get remodded.

Here is what I think:
Emme should get remodded if he wants to.
Korvacs, Zion, Sparkie, Me or anyone else that applied to be a Mod should be modded (the best one obviously.)
.Mio shouldn't be demodded.

does the section even need another mod?

.Mio is doing a great job, don't get me wrong, but we do need a moderator with atleast some experience of the game itself.

Mio should be demodded here and modded somewhere else, she's doing good!

I'll leave Korvacs up to the moderators as there are some comments about him being a moderator.

Sparkie would be THE moderator but I can hardly imagne him being a moderator, he's too good for it.

I don't know anything about Zion so I won't say anything about it.

There's a group around here, ofcourse. Haven't seen them lately but I've checked some in the past, and this group seem to contain: InfamousNoone, Tao4229, (c)Haydz, Korvacs and LetterX.

These are strong, but got reinforced by the community. As I can tell they all are very talanted at what they do, but I recall to LetterX's conclusion in his post the other day: Just because someone is better and/or smarter than you, you shouldn't attack them.

A little off-topic:

I've seen some mods, I'm not mentioning names, but these mods have been grouping up with this group I just listed up, and been helping them whenever they get in trouble around here in the forums, such as not giving infractions when they should of received (Actually, one mod thanked this guy when he totally bashed another one)

The section needs a moderator, and I think the community should be apart and vote for it, not just the admins.

Well it used to have 5, .Mio doesnt really know very much about the game it seems and often makes mistakes, Tane isnt the most active Mod in the world, Kin doesnt appear to do anything, however they might just be acting with making it known to other people.

The conquer section hasnt become less active recently. So we should get the number of Moderators back upto 5 shouldnt we?

In my opinion, it needs one mod, and guards with the rights to close threads if they are totally wrong, such as Advertisement for tooth paste or something like that.

It is about time the whole section gets cleaned up, at first add side sections like:
-Help section
-Advertisement section
-Development Section
-Release section
Then about the mods, I haven't seen any activity so far from them.
What about re-mod the whole section with the right choice?
Making getting moderator harder like :
- Does the applicant have enough knowledge if referring to coding, game knowledge and the game coding itsself?
- Does the applicant know how to deal with such incidents like flame wars and insults, instead of just closing the thread, they will eventually continue on a random thread.
- Is the applicant mature?

Right, about demodding. A moderator shouldn't be demodded if he is disliked by the forum as long as he does his job as his required to i guess there is no problem at all?
