Webtropia Flyff running on a VPS?

Alright i have a few question about Webtropia [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Is this company good, anyone have experience with them?

Also can a new private server be hosted on a vps server? the server will probably max have 50 players online at the same time

Yes but it have no DDoS Protection.
No DDoS Protection = Server Down in the first hour after Start.
I have see it on my Server Erendora.

Alright do you know any good starter vps for the same price range with ddos protection?

He actually asked for a VPS same price range (which is 15€) for the one he chosed.

Anyway, for that price range, I believe NO vps has a DDoS protection.
Uunless you take a very low spec/profile one.
But then don't expect to be running a FlyFF server.

Bytheway, in my opinion, if you're going to open a server for the public.
You shouldn't be going to cut the budget for a "decent" server hardware.
Cause the risk is: You pay the lowest and you get 15 days of downtime over a month.

That's just my opinion however.

I have Use this Server for the First Time of erendora. Ist work Fine for 60 Players.

I use OVH too, and we host 3000+ players across several servers.
I know how it works.

I was just answering to the OP who actually asked for a "cheap" vps, like the cloud 1.

Now tell me, are you gonna run a server on a cloud 1 vps and pretend to be hosting 50+ players?

This will never happen.
Unless you want a full-lag server.

Keep in mind each of the players request a minimum of RAM/CPU usage per user.
2GB, moreover, on a shared resource (vps), aren't going to provide you more than 10-15 players.
From 10-15 on, you'll gonna have some serious lag/crash issues (if they even success to login).

Anyway, I'm not gonna argue, just as I pointed out, I was answering the OP question.
And the answer remains the same: less than $15 for a "decent" vps? Forget about it.
For a decent VPS you'll need atleast $50 (aka the VPS Cloud #3 as pointed out by Gentros).

They are an OVH reseller (just to say).
However, yeah, the prices are OK, but I never tried their services.

But i was wondering how many players can be online without lag if i buy that one if anyone knows? :)

Server only avaible in america? wouldn't that lag alot for europe players

Nah not really.
Maybe you can experience an increased ping of 10 or so.
But not proper "lag" itself.

Okay becuase in a game like counter strike when playing on eu servers i have around 15 ms and on US 300 ms lel so i thought it was the same here.

But how many players can the cloud 3 server host?

I may say around 50-60 players will be going smooth.

Check kimsufi.com ^^ Its a reseller of OVH.. There Ddos protection start after 5 seconds when anyone attack you.. Same like SoYouStart.. The Support answer you weekly ^^
My server never go offline... i attack them with my 150 GB Botnetwork ^^
I had more then 300 Players online (Flyff, Minecraft, WoW on 1 KIMSUFI Server..)
