Event: The 30 Minute Challenge

It's time for an event. The 30 Minute Challenge.

Rules:

Car: Any
Track: Any Pursuit Outrun
Powerups: Juggernaut, Emergency Evade and Run Flats. You can use as many as you'd like of those three. All other powerups disallowed.
Perfect Start: Allowed but not sure why you would want to PS in a Pursuit Outrun.
Other stuff: No cheating. This includes using the Instant Powerups mod or the ultrafast BMW 3.0 CSL mod (both made by me), as well as any trainers. I'll allow the 100% parts for this one as it's impossible to check for parts in a Pursuit Outrun.
Objective: This one will keep you busy. You need to get into a pursuit lasting at least 30 minutes, then evade it. Do whatever you can to keep the cops on your tail until you reach that time, but also get the highest stats possible - everything you do will count. Best overall stats in the pursuit wins.

To enter, post a screenshot of the results screen showing you evaded the pursuit after it lasted at least 30 minutes. The best overall pursuit will win. I chose not to require a video as many people don't have the resources to record 30 minutes of gameplay.

The prize is this specially-designed Lotus Europa S, as in the below screenshots:

You might be wondering how I'm going to send it to the winner, right? It's quite simple actually: I'll send them a basket file which they'll place in their basket folder, then when they buy a certain car in the Car Dealer, they'll get their prize instead. It's not hard and you can even do it with your own designed cars as well.

Deadline is August 5th, 2015, or more precisely next Wednesday.

Just wanted to say, when using 1.7 you won't be able to finish the pursuit because I forgot to edit 2 files. Goto /www/nfsw/Engine.svc/event and open the 2 xml files. After that replace "<PersonaId>XXX</PersonaId" with "<PersonaId>RELAYPERSONA</PersonaId>" and save the files. Pursuit will work fine after that.

I see <PersonaId>22418201</PersonaId> in those files.

yea, when you're browsing online and someone uses 'x' for something, it means everything that is there. so XXX = 22418201

Hickley Field is still an easy place to rack up time during a pursuit. Drop both signs, and stay near the east sign (cops very rarely can get through there), and if a cop drives in, just drive out the west side to near Hwy 99, then go back inside to the field. If the busted meter starts to fill while parked near the east sign, drive west towards the middle of the field, then go back and park near the east sign.

Most Wanted 2005 has a 30 minute pursuit milestone, and Hickley field or the bus terminal are good spots to hang out while waiting for the 30 minutes.

Umm the problem with this is minimal. Well the Baseball Stadium still works, but don't the Bus Terminal due the Art Direction found it as a advantage for the players to make it trough like the challenge you mention, instead "surviving on the city at freaking speed" escaping as irl/HP (2010)/MW(2012)/Rivals happen

The bus terminal no longer works for NFS World, it only works in NFS Most Wanted (2005). The bus terminal was blocked off on July 27, 2010, the first day for free to play players to join. It wasn't blocked off during the betas or during the pre-order head start period that began on July 20, 2010. It was supposed to be a temporary fix. The actual fix came years later: now if a car is parked for around 1 to 2 minutes, the busted meter starts filling unless the car starts moving again. This is why Hickley Field is good, because there's room to drive around, and you can evade while in Hickley Field. Even if a road block is created in center field, you can drive behind home plate to evade.

There never was a 30 minute pursuit milestone in NFS World (there is one in Most Wanted (2005)). Before achievements, the old stats included stuff like shortest and longest pursuit, but these stats never rewarded anything and were never used in any type of contest.

There never was much benefit for parking for pursuits in NFS World, since the main issue in the early days was leveling up, and cops needed to be disabled in order to reach the max rep value for a pursuit. Max cash only took 5 minutes, and for pursuits to reach max rep took about 6 to 7 minutes. Hwy 99 was best for this. If the goal was to do a long pursuit, then Hickley Field is/was much better because the east sign blocks off the cops, and in the early days, once setup, a player could leave the pursuit running for hours without having to be at the computer. When the bus terminal wasn't blocked off, the cops would eventually drive up the ramps or crash below the ramps and reset onto the ramps and reach the player, so the bus terminal wasn't that useful.

The Art Director or whoever in the team actually made the decision to block off the bus terminal were wrong. There were / are other locations that worked just as well or better than the bus terminal. The bus terminal was blocked off due to ignorance of the developers because it was a popular place for players to hang out at, but it was not a popular place to use for pursuits, although a few videos were made showing this in Most Wanted (2005) since it's between the start and end of the final career pursuit, which may have influenced the developers.

The bus terminal could have been fixed, but much of the team was removed from NFS World to work on The Run, and later they were laid off.
