Why people are always trying to hack the server sided things?

Because 80%~90% of the fun stuff is server-sided.

Its good to try stuff like this. Better to try it yourself, than just ask, though.

and, for you 2), only part of it server sided. You can "lie" to the server, and it'll believe you. There exist no packet for "hey server, that thing I just killed? yeah, it dropped a fomor". Therefore, there is no way to lie to the server about drops.

In fact, packet editing is all about lying to the server, and see when it belives you, and when it doesn't.

And when it doesn't believe you, it gets angry and tells you to GTFO! and... oh look you have to log in again -_-

i tired it myself couldnt get it to work so i asked IF IT WAS POSSIBLE not for someone to do it for me but...
and thats kinda depressing that it cant be done and could you make a packet based bot ( i think soras is)

they r packet based....At least most of them does~~
Also....The one I got seems able to decrypt/encrypt mabi package as well...

Decrypting the packet eh? That's interesting. My guess is that the game communicates via some form of public key encryption. If you notice, while you're sniffing, you send these 10 byte packets. I suspect that these contain your public key (and that key changes ever 5-10 seconds). Even if I'm wrong, and its using a static public key (which really does make more sense), with a reasonably padded public key scheme, decrypting packets within a reasonable amount of time would be impossible, unless nexon made the mistake of making the decryption/return time determinant (hah... I would hope that any programmer would have learned from all the weaknesses of the old RSA algorithms...). Do you know the algorithm that the game uses for its packet encryption?

EDIT: Encrypting your packets should be rather easy. Once you know the algorithm, and know where your private key is in memory, you can just encrypt all of your own packets. However, this requires knowing what info is contained within the packet to begin with.

Decrypting incoming packets is just as easy as encrypting outgoing ones, if you can find the server's public key in memory.

The hard part is decrypting outgoing packets. The concept behind public key encryption is that only the private key can decrypt, whereas the public key can encrypt.

how about making spiders drop fomors instead of cobwebs>?
11/25/2009 02:39 TsukiOokami#12
If you could change what fomors dropped, white spiders would be dropping boleros and becky's

again that is just server-sided, it will be fairly hard to be done with a pe, without getting disconnected.
