Market price hack

Just saw in co forum today some ppl claimed to get hacked in market when they were vendoring their items

Is this possible by modifying CO client only?

It is not possible because it is server side.

The guy just forgot a 0 and doesn't want to admit that he is a retard.

IMHO, all vendors' price arent stored in server side ,server only check if u have enuf money to buy the items. So that means the prices are kept in our comp's memory we just gotta search the value in memory and change it?
Hell i wud like to buy super draggy for 1k :D

that would still be in ur memory , not server side

like using t search to get urself 999,999,999 silver, although u can trade it and show it to others, u can not actually use it

Why not remove all the zero's then, or buy it for 0 silver. If they are scared that there char is going to be banned then make a new char and buy stuff with that char.

People do actually forget to add numbers sometimes. I bought a elite warrior hat for 39k a few days ago and then the guy keep swearin at me to give it back cause it was suppose to be 390k lol. Did I give it back ? NO. :)

Hhahhaha I hate when you are getting plvled and one of your fellow noobs drops like 10k + a good item and they demand it back. Then they shoot wooden arrows at me and I just walk away. Heheehhe some guy dropped like 100k worth of stuff on the ground (I think he was doing a bank transfer) and immeditley, like 7 people came in and looted the items and all ran away. I couldn't even get one thing. I swear in like 5 seconds, no one was around and all the items were gone.

I read all 10 pages of that thread. how have u done it? have u changed the price in the memory of ur computer? if u have done it this way, ofcourse it wouldn't work. u have to change the price, when the seller send it to the server. but it's nearly impossibl.

yeah i guess if you can be bothered trying to figure out how to buy items by hacking the price, you may as well be just working on a way to hack unlimited money.... packet edit yourself dropping 1kk gold and repeat. then u can just buy anything u want without somene else getting really mad.
