Gentlemen,

I want to run my eudemons server on Microsoft Azure.

I already have an internal and an external ip being, however can only set the engines to run on internal ip , but it is not accessible by the client .

I use the external ip for connection ? I open the door ? Or some kind of VPN service is needed?

Look through the all things guide on port fowarding. This will explain everything you need to know on how to make your IP suitable for Hosting.

Also im not sure how detailed and well you are with Windows Azure. But give this video a try.

you just have to forward your connections from your external ip to your internal ip.... you will have to forward them yourself in azures control panel
look for "endpoints"

however having said that trying to run a "privateserver" on windows azure is a silly idea.... especially one of their free plans. your server will be offline before it even gets off the ground
their extremely complicated list of rules you need to comply with is huge.... and of course hosting a private server automatically violates their rules
if you dont know what I mean have a look here
