I remember this video that this guy replace the carrera gt into a 918 spyder that is not made by EA
https://youtu.be/eglAs2mk9E4
Is it possible to have mod cars in nfsw?
the file format of cars are exactly the same as the nfsu2,nfsmw2005 and nfsc
even the global file is the same too(globalc, lzc for the nfsw and globalb.lze for nfsu2)
has anyone try it out?

the 918 RSR isn't a mod, it was in the game but have been deleted

Car mods are impossble as of now. Considering what the NFSCars folks can do, maybe it won't be impossible for long. If they cracked Undercover, which is the shittiest NFS, they'll crack World eventually.

These cars seems to be modded, even more because the wheels doesn't move (look at 1:16 and 2:27).
Also, the video was uploaded 30/01/2013 and according to this blog:

Only in April the Porsche 918 Concept was added in game files.
I can be wrong about this, but it's still doubtful.

this is a mod of nfsw o maybe a professional video editing skill
1.the car shown are the bugatti veyron 16.4 with plastic-like body and a 918 Spyder(not the918 rsr)
2.they both can emit the exhause gas from the original exhause
3.both of the cars' wheels can't move, means that this may just a texture, but still a mod

There was never a stock 918 in the game files, so the video is, more likely than not, a fake.

He didn't, that video is edited. There was never a stock 918, nor was there ever a mod that places it in the game. There might be in the future, but not now.

That video was confirmed fake long ago.
