[GUIDE]How to Setup a 5017 conquer source

please read carefully.

Before you try to make a server, make sure you have this installed.
-Windows XP(SP3), or windows Vista.
-net framework 3.0.
-c# express 2008(this is not needed in this guide, but you will need it later to work inside the server)

good. lets start.

you need:.
-app server.[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-Navicat for mysql. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-Source [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-Client (updated by Me)-[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-Database backup [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] ---PASSWORD: saryogan

ok, now lets setup it:

Open your navicat and do this: click on "localhost" icon and put the following infos on there:
Connection name: localhost
Host name/ip adress: localhost
Port: 3306
Username: root
password: (your app server password", then click "ok". now theres a database called "localhost", double click, and then right click, and select "New database" then make sure it has the following infos:
database name: coproj
Character set: utf8 - utf - 8 unicode
Collation: utf- 8- unicode_ci

Now, Go to coproj(the one that i posted to download) folder, and copy ALL the files. then, go to "C:\AppServ\MYSQL\Data" and there MUST be a folder called "coproj", open it and put all the files there.

After download and extract everything, go to "Updated CoMy Source 1.7 By.Saryogan>Source>bin>debug>config" , and make sure it looks like this:

[Server]
ServerIP=Your server IP
XPRate=5
ProfXPRate=30
SpellRate=25
ExpballRate=1
DBUserName = "Your database username (usually its root)"
DBUserPass = "Your database password(the one you have setup, when you installed appserver)"

-Now, save it.
-nice, you have setup your server.(to open the server use "CoMy.exe")

Now, go to "SaryoganClientCo>SaryoganCo>Server.dat" , and make sure it looks like this:

[Header]
GroupAmount=1
Group1=GroupPic9
Group2=GroupPic8

[Group1]
ServerAmount=1

Server1=Your server name
Ip1=Your server IP(it can be hamachi Ip too)
Port1=9958
ServerName1=Your server name
HintWord1=An welcome phrase for your players.
Pic1=servericon30


Now, open CidServer.dat , and make sure it looks like this:

[Header]
GroupAmount=1
Group1=GroupPic9

[Group1]
ServerAmount=1

Server1=Your server name
Ip1=your server ip (can be hamachi ip)
Port1=9958
ServerName1=Your server ip
HintWord1=An welcome phrase to your players
Pic1=servericon30

-Now open CoMy.exe and Game Client and enjoy your server.
-to create an account just go into navicat. accounts table, and then put ur ursername, logon count: 2, status: 8 for gm, 7 for pm, 0 for normal players. soon i will release a registration page =)

doesn't work with 127.0.0.1 being an ip

you need to use your hamachi IP in the client and on the source to login... the 127.0.0.1 ip doesnt work here.

Im am trying it now lets see if it works :D and do I need hamatachi to make it work?

well, if you have all your router ports open you can use your ip, but if you dont have it open, then you need to use hamachi.

thats true... but a good guide with a good source is never bad.am i right?

If you wish to set up a bugless source comy is the worst you can use.

well, tiku and berghuis, as you can see we dnt share the same opinion... and... its rare to see a source with lucky time , 2nd rb , and other things fixed. so, please before complain test the source =)

Lucky Time, second reborn, and a lot of other things are all released.
Please make sure you know what you are talking about before having an attitude. The source is a waste of time and your PC's memory, it uses the worst method for lucky time, and it has 100s of timers lmao.
