My friend is getting the same problem, and the fatal error 7 code. I cant for the life of me figure out what it is. I've done it for her over TeamViewer on her windows 7 laptop and on her windows 8 desktop. both of which have perfect memory and ram.. 4gbs on laptop, 16gbs for desktop. I had 0 troubles following steps. hopefully someone replies to your thread.

This error has nothing to do with memory.
It's one of the few misleading errormessages.

I have the same issue, but I have noticed some information on one of the opened cmd prompts-

ProxyError(NetLibError('Error connecting to "localhost": [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it' ,),)

I told in the main thread to wait for the next version and that it will be fixed in that.

Right, and how long ago was the main thread made? the 7th. its now the 15th. been a full week.. seems its only fair we get to yell and be frustrated. 2 things need to be done

1. Add, every single car to car basket. (including, Bugatti Veyron)
2. Make it able to sell cars in Car Dealer.
(that's all)

I know this sounds ridiculous, but be sure to verify through your list of programs that you see Java listed and it did in fact install. I was having this same Out Of Memory issue myself on start-up after following every step in the tutorial flawlessly. Finally, I realized that while installing Java, when it was asking me to uninstall previous versions, and I accepted, it was actually uninstalling the version I just added. Once I declined to delete previous versions and the Java install finished, I was able to start the game and have had no issues since. Sorry if this seems trivial, just trying to help.

Great work you guys are doing here. My hat is off to you! Many of us less computer-savvy World players are glad you are here so we can continue on! Many thanks!

I already had Java 8.1 installed before installing everything else in the readme

Alright, I figured it out, I had to do a clean reinstall of the Java I already had.

I first tried the recent update, but still had the issue, so I then tried reinstall of Java.
