Aion total newbie(please help)

:confused: Hello.I try for 2 days now to play this game, since I've installed it (Aion v 1.5.0.1 for US). I used the launcher provided in the forum download section and I keep getting this message:"the game is not available in your country". I figured out that is a Gameguard problem of some sort and I've applyed fyyre's patch for aion US/EU. I still get that message. In instructions provided in the forums I didn't found any help for this issue...
I tryied even on other server, but after 5 minutes of playing, a window appear with message: An illegal program was detected.Please try again after closing the program."(still gameguard problem I guess.)
Please, I really need help on this matter, a guide if I'm not asking too much, as I said, I'm a tatal newbie, first time trying to play Aion.
Maybe someone tell me how to update to a version supported by the server(official launcer update it too far I think)

So, on other forum I found a thread that said that I should follow these steps:
-Install game (v 1.5.0.1)
-download manually patch 1.5.0.1 to 1.5.0.6 and copy it into Aion's main folder
-run NCSoft launcer and update.(now version should be 1.5.0.6)
-run launcer after deleting from aion/bin32 wimm.dll&wimm.tmp(said also that in this game version I don't need gameguard killer)

So, what do you think, it's worth a try this guide or?...
