European only.

Hello guys,

Since many servers are like chinese only or a mix of chinese/europe.

How would you guys think about a european only server, this will force everyone into teamplay. With a few proper changes ofcourse, no true balancing because that's nearly impossible but some minor buffs to support classes so it can be played properly etc etc.

There was already an Euro server only but it was kinda horrible in my opinion, whether with changes or not it will be the same as the CH/EU one since you can't do the balance thingy.

I like it, at least ch only fans won't cry for balance when they play it. I had this idea in mind before^^

Would be like Lineage 2.
I firstly played L2 and was familiar with tankers, healers, pullers, etc.
Then Joymax added the new race back then ... first thought: "Race idea almost 1:1 stolen from L2".

Wouldn't be that bad.

Honestly speaking I don't like the concept of a single race server in general and why is that?

Let's start with China only servers. What happens is at the start spear nuker kicks everybody ass until everybody switches to Glaive and Bow and put on their fully pimped garment sets giving terribly hard chances for nukers to kill them turning the entire server into a pot war server.

Now let's get to the concept of a Europe only server. I have personally gave the idea a thought like a year ago and this is what I think. I think that it is a bad idea, even worse than China only as the entire server are going to be playing as warriors and wizards and put on LA sets and of-course you have that issue of buff stacking so wars are going to be way too retarded.

The concept of a single race in general is terrible as only 2 builts are going to be playable both ways and only a single type of set (Garment for ch only) (LA for eu only) will be on demand making the economy a lot worse.

Honestly, there is no server that is bad out there, the only thing you gotta think of is what can you bring to the table? Something that would attract players and would make them wanna play. Something new and unique, not just another same features as all the others out there.


You do that, and people will join, doesn't matter what cap or what race it is.

The part where you say everyone will go warrior & wizard might be true, but if there are changes on a certain level I think rogue & bard are the 2 classes that will be picked even more.

Party buffs can and will always be toned down.

It's not about that. It's purely about the idea of having only european characters to force people into team play, consider there is no way wizards for example can solo against a party.

Yes, fights might last longer like this due to ressing & buffing, but isn't that fun? Who likes a fight that stops after 30 seconds.

That is up to the changes. However, don't expect bards to be main characters under any circumstances.

Not quite difficult to figure out but then you have the issue of people wanting nothing to do with Heavy Armor and Robe sets. That is the main problem of a server with a single race.

If they're gonna use only HA/Robe that might actually be a good thing. Because there will always be a mix of int/str chars and if people are only using HA/Robe that's a good thing. People will have to decide what's better for them etc.

Bard can easily be toned to a main class. People are just too scared to overbuff it for some reason, plus on top of that bard is actually pretty strong if you play properly wth it.

In a server full of wizards and warriors you can't wear HA because then wizards will rape you and you can't wear Robe because then warriors will rape you. Of-course that wouldn't be such a big deal if the entire server are not playing as warriors and wizards which happens to be the case on an ordinary mixed race server.

The reason is simple, you can't balance between classes when it comes to the Euro race. as I said there was already an euro server only and everyone was so excited about it including me. even I was one of those who suggested an euro server only
However after few weeks the server turned upside down into warrior/rogue , rogue/warlock classes everywhere leaving other classes to to bot.
you can find out by yourself, the server is already closed tho ^^

maybe you should mention few points that needs to be considered in-case if someone willing to create an Eu server only.

Only EU server is like suicide Tomes m8,100cap only CH server moar hyped tbh.

at eu/chn servers about 80/85% are eu so chn are nothing
