Port Scanning the Servers

So yeah.. For about a month I would port scan Lion
To see if anything new opened up.
All I ever found was Terminal Services
and mysql
But those *uck heads reported me to my ISP
Almost got my internet banned.
So this warning goes out to you all
The GMs might suck but TQ doesnt take kindly to DOS attacks or port scanning

hey just tell your isp if they contact you that you found out you were infected with some sort of irc bot trojan and just recently managed to get rid of it works every time lol and just act dumb they will generally drop it. then just lay low for a lil while let them move their eyes elsewhere :)

doesnt all the servers have the same ip? look into server.dat... i dunno its wierd

does brute password cracking able to crack pws of a single targetted user?

anyone who leaves their com open 24 hrs can use it can u make one?

done port scanning, still havent got banned... i think it's because im doing it from my school lol, but I tried from home too and still didnt get banned.

how to you find the server ip then? PM me if you dont wanna post here

easiest way just open the server.dat in your conquer folder

the other way is to use netstat first netstat then netstat -n if u want host name then no.

coder, the ip in the server.dat is either the account server or the patch server. That Is hosted overseas obviously. Try logging onto it with remote Desktop connection :/ Its all in chineese!! Stupid diffrent lang OS..

I think they installed a firewall at the servers coz u can't even ping them anymore... Maybe that's why lag is increasing sightly these days...

You dont need to ping anything :P
I just tonight was trying to brute force the terminal services

Tried about 200000 passwords, no luck
I used netstat -n to get the Ip of server once logged on :)
