Running bots on a server?

I'm interested in botting a bunch of accounts simultaneously, but I'm not capable of doing so from my own computer. I'm not too familiar with servers so if anyone could shed some light I'd be grateful.

What kind of server would be better for my intentions, VPS/Dedicated server?
What kind of specs should I aim for on my server if I want to run at least 10 bots at a time?

I'm sure I'm still missing a lot of vital information. So if you have any other suggestions for me, feel free to let me know :)

sorry. :rtfm:

As far as I know, VPS is the way to go

Rent a dedicated server!
VPS is not really an option in my opinion as it's usually way too weak.

As theres several botting softwares out there with diffrent cpu/ram requirements per client and some depending on use of VMs, it's hard to tell exactly what spec you need.

A decent dedicated server with 6-8 cpu cores and 32gb ram can run all from 20 to 50++ clients (again depending on the botting software).
