Add pets

So, i have a server just for test purposes. How can i add pets (mounts included)?

Can i get a patch from a server releasing new pets and add it to my server?
Databases changes needed? Would appreciate a example.

1: I wouldn't advise using someone elses patches, it tends to piss them off it can also create conflicts in your own files, you will also learn more by doing it yourself.
