ID on its own won't help you at all.
You need to adjust the positioning of your character selection box, too. Which includes rotation horizontally and probably vertically, height as well.
Same for your camera (you don't want to stick a flag, fish, boat's mast or else into your face and hiding the characters behind it).
You can change the RegionID, but you won't have your characters being placed correctly to the ground. You will either glitch through the surface level or keep hovering mid-air.

Just forget it.

I dont even remember what you mean. Get me a screenshot and im pretty sure it'll be easy to do.

About changing the box' positoin.. its not really hard, you can hardcodedly change the positions if nothing else works. Somebody even wrote a guide about this in 2012...

What you might want to remember is a bit different:

And Synx is as well just pointing to the RegionID, which is declared as a hex value.

Peole might be able to compare the MHTC client with the vSRO/twSRO/etcSRO client and prolly get the necessary coordinated doing so, but it will take quite a while to do so.
The great mess around 3-4 values of positioning (X Y Z C) ... not really worth it.

*MHTC has the old login position of the jangan/dunhuang wharf.

And "hardcodely" changing something, which you don't know to allocate and overrite the values, is a waste of time.
No values given/found, nothing to change.
