Problem playing CO on windows 7

Can anyone tell me how to play CO on windows 7? I was using vista first and it worked fine but I recently upgraded my OS to windows 7 and now it says that CO is not compatible with windows 7. Please help me out here. Thanks.

i have tried every possible thing which i could find over the net within various forums, yet i'm unable to play the game. everytime it says please run play.exe and i have done all the changes in the compatibility mode still no luck. if anyone could help me that would be highly appreciated. and i forgot to add one more thing, my win 7 is ultimate and all the info which was given was only till win 7 beta.

I have W7 and i play co ... Only problem i got with it ... it dosen't autopatch so what i did : i autopatch from my laptop where i got xp then copy to my desktop.. Im running in Xp sp3 compatibility .. All works fine only the game dosen't autopatch .. Hope that helps u

turn off UAC and run as admin mode, it is prevending CO to open external exe
the auto patch deal is the same too

remove the TQ anti-trojan crap from the exe then it should work,the anti-trojan will blue screen you

thanks for all the replies but it never worked with anything. now i have reinstalled vista as i cant live without CO. but i did tried everything on win 7 but nothing worked.
