What's wrong with my new site?

Hi,

Ive recently created a new site for the arduino community where users can view and post new projects.
However, people don't seem interested in it, i cannot figure out what the problem is why people don't register / post ...

Speed?
Layout?
Theme / colors
Content?

what is it then ?
Can some one help me out on this plz ?

Does it mean i should add ads on the website?
Should i ask "clients" to sponsor me ?

Advertising on other websites is not possible, there is ZERO income

Your site takes around 8 Seconds to load that's pretty slow

also you have to advertise your site! and not put advertisment on your site. Look in other "arduino" sites / forums and advertise you site there (it's only a example)

May i ask where do you live ?
The domain / website is hosted on GoDaddy servers

5 seconds to load here, Germany (south). The last 2-3 seconds were only some icons.

And like the other guy said, did you advertise your site? You know that if you dont tell anyone about your site, noone is going to find it?

I did but not a very much,
i have it in my signature on various boards
and asked on a few websites, but thats about it :(

You need to have long time advertise in many many signatures or buy on big boards.
You can also buy some ads on google adword.


But your site looks good so far for me =)

Just buy advertisements in example Google AdWords, to advertise your website on other website's.

You should find Friends for your Site. They should be active and post in the Forum/Answer Questions!

Its about arduino, but if you dont have one or dont know, you can post something to keep it alive
