looking to manage a server

hey seems like rohan private servers are rampant now...i am already playing rohan for around 7 yrs.. i started playing it at the CBT of irohan..

after that i played rohan ph (since i am from the philippines) i even have a RHCBT and RHBW account...

anyways... i am looking for a chance to be a GM of one rohan private server.. i am tired of playing as a player and i would like to have the chance to serve others...

i got lots of rohan knowledge, ideas for events, i can speak english fluently and i can also speak filipino...( for those private servers needing a filipino mod)

just pm me anyone in need of a good gm or moderator

it's a baby game to be GM in game but is not when you manage the p-server externally , if you want to be GM you must atlast have a little knowledge in SQL and bin editing (no one will invite you to be admin just like that :D lol)

he just want to be a GM, not an Admin nor developer. :p

it is hard to be a GM in a server where the owner does not know you. because being a gm is so easy to abuse it takes a lot of trust to give someone that level of power. most game servers I know of only owner's friends end up being GMs.

And thats the reason why some servers are so fucked up :P

Pretty much agree with that 110% haha

If the owner if creating a server, he should manage it himself and/or choose people that are capable and financially stable so temptation is not a factor.

It's basicly impossible to manage a server by yourself even if you stay 18h at pc thinking and making stuff for the server it's still not enough (I did that and didnt work out)

Chosing people that are capable was never an option everyone wants to have those GM Powers on any game (The reason local games based have trainers / cheats / console cheats)

Best system to keep the heat of staff is 1 GM (With all powers) the rest of the team with normal powers (No create or summon) and access to the logs to check out if that 1 GM is handing out stuff and if he is then removed from the team and replaced with the next one in line.

And i can prove that will never happen since all Owners want to be allmightys on server and normal staff members creating content will never pay money to make their own server (Atleast i would not pay to make my own server).

Now you say what if we find a sponsor to do it.Then it's still fucked up cuz the reason for that sponsor is he wants a % of the server income witch can start hate on a staff team.

where can i found all files in making new server rohan
