Decrease the harmful threads!

Hello Elitepvpers!

I have found a method that would decrease the amount of spam threads or threads with virus downloads.
However, it is somewhat similar to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], but it will NOT limit the amount of threads.

My suggestion is that members that have their account less than a month old AND have less than 100 posts and/or thanks should have their threads reviewed by a moderator or someone who is willing to volunteer and approve them before publishing to public. I know that moderators have their own lives to live, but that's where the volunteer comes in. These people should be chosen by moderators to help them review these threads.

If this suggestion is put in effect, it would result in these following outcome;
  • Decrease in spam/junk threads or threads in wrong section
  • Decrease the amount of threads with virus download
  • Increase the approval of threads (if there are any volunteers)
  • Improve the forum with less spam and become more safe

Isn't it better to have thread posts delayed rather than having a spam thread or a thread that contains virus download links?

Due to the high amount of Threads created, I don't think that this is a solution. It would be way too much work for the team.

Well, I was thinking that would be a problem too, but what if we just apply this idea to only in the Hacks, Bots, Cheats & Exploits Forums for all games?
Since it's where most spam thread and virus download links are. I don't see many threads in those forums created by new members with less than 100 posts/thanks.

Then those posting viruses will just post them into the main section.
I do agree that something should be done, but there should be a better solution.

Mit der Google Safebrowsing API lassen sich doch auch schöne Sachen anstellen so btw.
