Fake indeed, I believe it was a guy who posted this video a while ago here on elitepvers, he used your opensource files but didn't know how to improve them.Quote:

hey Mega_Byte , why dont you guys use kickstarter ? Explain the situation , the game and the fact that you need help in any form to make it work faster and maybe you will find sponsors or all the old 12sky players may donate , you never know. That way you could buy real servers to hold the server and maybe even sell it to a company or who knows ,just an idea.

kickstarter sounds good :) they could do it, but who knows how many will donate for such an old game. everyone got used to ts2 now, and the only way they will play that again is if Mega and his crew will add some new stuff to the game or idk something like that.

People are cheap.
There are a lot of people who want to play.
But they don't want to or can't donate.
Its rather odd.
They will most likely only donate for their own gain such as gear in game etc.
And that would just make it p2w ish which would suck.
To be fair we have had a few people donate which has allowed us to get accounts and such.

maybe this server admin dont know how to change to low level item without plus! only he/she know is setup the server SQL and run the .bat i mean if you create a new character you dont have a free elite or rare item with plus :)
