Limit MAXfps

Hi guys,

I'm multibotting with Elvirion's RoM-Bot, and sometimes I encounter performance issues in the way that the game window on top runs with 50+fps and the other with only 10fps.
Back then, when I was botting WoW with Glider I always used the max_fps command to limit each game window to 25fps, but I couldn't find a command that can do the same for me.

I tried around with changing priorities, but the results were not really helpful.
So if anybody knows how to limit the MAXIMUM fps in RoM I would appreciate a post.

I'm sorry, but that Addon is useless for my cause, as it justs adjust the view distance according to performance. I have all settings on ultra low already, so that it won't make a difference.

Btw: Ihr koennt mir auch auf deutsch antworten. :)

i didnt use it so i dont take any responsibility for it :P there is a readme included that describes the command line parameters however its german only. i dont know if it works at all since the game uses a launcher. maybe you need the launcher bypass hack before you can use this

There is a flag that can be changed to keep background- or minimized windows running at full speed, Gatherer does modify this flag too... I leave it up to you to find it ... scan for 1Byte, 1=foreground, 0=background/minimized

But usually the biggest bottleneck in RoM is the time needed to load all the objects from the harddrive ... if nothing helps try to modify the minimum viewdistance - float 400.0 I think...

I made a viewdistance ct a while ago. I dont know if it works with the latest patch, but if I know rom right, it will.
