Normal mode and level 40?

Hi Guys,

I' m playing on extreme-Shaiya and I have choosed Normal Mode (Hard is locked)
Is level 40 the border or can I continue in the hard mode thus can I further play with my same charakter?

no you've to get lv40 with 1char and unlock hard-mode
and create a new char to play in hardmode
