TwinCity Style 3d Problem in 5065 :(

hello guys!

please help me i want add the new style of twin city that 3d of conquer online

but when i try see some problem in the style

but is in love2hate and apexconquer is fine?

so what this problem how i can fixed this

Looks to me like you didn't convert the files properly.

It's more involved then simply copying over the map files.

if im correct, the directories of files are different per client, also i saw some files & maps even being renamed..

Take the 5017 client for example, files of the TC map are in data\map\mapobj\newplain\city

But in the latest client they are located at data\map\mapobj\1-newplain\city

just a small change but can cause messy problems once your using a exe installation of a map skin/edit based on the older clients with the installation locations pre-configured already.

The new client has a completely different TC map. You can still use the old map with new textures but the issue is likely they are not using the updated .ani files.

Ani files are responsible with linking up texture IDs (used in Pul files) with the actual texture file.


Personally I wrote a reader to go through all the client files, pull out all relevant ani entries and replace them as dumping the whole folder into old clients will cause plenty of issues. Not perfect but worked in my tests

Well i wouldnt say completely different :p

but yes, just copying and pasting the whole map aint gonna work.

PS. @TS the co maps are still far away from 3D...

It's a different map layout entirely. It's tq though so everything gets re-used lol.

yes true, but it isnt completely different

i saw releases here on epvp of the TC map & the Arena map and that is what you can call completely different...

but i get your point.

i copy ur ani files
newplain.ani
MapScene.ani

and
data\map\puzzle\1-newplain
data\map\mapobj\1-newplain

and not fixed are i must copy or edit other files ?

Facepalm.... why dont you actually look how other maps are done and put some effort/research rather then asking for each problem you come up with...
