[BETA] Conquecide (Conquer 1.0 Private server)

Hello players,

We got some bad news.

Me and Cyanocide have decided to shut Conquecide down.
There really is a loss of interest for our server and to be honest we can't see any improvement of players coming and playing.
We see more people leave in a week than join therefore, Conquecide is being shut down.

Advertising has been done, we are known by people who want CO 1.0 back though people rather play on Classic CO because that's "real" or "more real".
Private servers (overall) will never grow big due the fact that 98% of them is hosted / owned by 14 year old kids asking for donations everywhere and having barely any knowledge of programming.
Our source will probably be given out to someone we know.

We hope you understand.

i find it funny that lots of servers pretty much send clients the data that the client gives them, without validating it.

I just say its beta stage but true i hope this server fails

Lame attempts , if u didnt play CO 1.0 then shut the fuck up. CO 1.0 Rocks dude, And this server is hell out of a server. Keep the good work and for all who played CO 1.0 Join this server :D

in my opinion "classic" is about the "feeling" and not about the "looks" who should still be modern
Have you ever tryied playing classic "looks" right after logging off from a 5095 server?

well then go play TQ´s server they r usin version 5130+ for classic co.

Always interesting to see how projects evolve when it's CO 1.0 related.

So far i've enjoyed playing it hehe :)

What version of Conquer 1.0 is it? I still have my old 4217 Conquer 1.0 installation file. I'm downloading the client but wanted to know if it's just using some 2.0 coding but with a 1.0 feel.

It's v4267. (v4283 was CO2)
