GMs with certain commands only

Is there a way to give GMs only the commands you wish them to have? So i could give them movemap, chase, kick, and announcement, i don't wat them to have callmonster.

if you want it so there's no callmonster, then edit the dekaronserver.exe or if you want only some gm's to not have that command edit the dek.exe.

Ok but how do i do that?

use olydbg i think thats what the program is called.

yep use olly, and then what you edit depends how you want it to be done. easiest way is to just nop it or jump over it, so when gm's try and use that command it'll say they wrote it incorrectly even though they didn't (that's what i did in my anti hack to stop ghostmode but i added checks too). though if you have some 'cheeky' gm's they could just reverse this back very easily, so you might wanna add some security like checks to make sure it's not being edited or edit the dekserver.exe and so won't matter.

winhex is easier to read and he give same result

i know you can't set jump command in winhex bt you can just block that command

well you can set a jump command in winhex, you just gotta do it in hex.

but anyways if you did do that, that won't stop any 'cheeky' gm's like i said above. you could edit your own dek.exe and dekserver.exe and change what needs to be entered, so unless they got access to the server files then it'll be unlikely they could do it.

it might be easier but it's not gonna stop anyone, people could just use another dek.exe then they got all commands again.

correct me if i am wrong (bottomy) as i dont know the 1st thing about editing the server exe, but from my experience with other mmo emulators, doesnt the server exe receive packets? is it not possible to edit the server exe to not receive the packet?

yes it's possible but whether you would want to do that, depends what is in the packet. cause the packet that gets sent could be the packet that is used for all commands. or that packet could hold even more info, so ye depends xd.
