Slices of meat summoning mod?

I've been told that if you buy slices of meat in Cor, you can summon friends with it. Is this true? I'm running fantasia, but I haven't seen anything about summoning.

Is it another mod I need to add? Help me out guys, I'm a nab xD

There is an easy way to do it, but it effects ALL "Slices of Meat" (Can be any food). This entails copying the "Friend Summoning Capsule" syntax over the "Slice of Meat". This is done in itemdb.xml. This is enough information to figure it out in two to seven attempts, depending on how smart you are.

download a package tool (mabipackagetool, mabiunpack) to get the original itemdb.xml, if you dont have a modded itemdb in your data folder yet

Alright, I figured it out. I just downloaded Moonshine and it appears to be working perfectly.

But I have another question, I can curse without putting the & symbol in the middle of the word.

How can I disable this feature? I'm scared someone will see me cursing without putting the & in it and report me as a modder.

When you installed tiara, did you not READ the feature list? You could have disabled that with... oh... ONE CHECK BOX.

Delete the filter list (which is currently blank). I'll leave it to you to find where it is.

I did, but I had no idea other people could see it. o.o Is there some way that I can just go back and check it off? or am I fucked to uninstalling everything and starting over?

The only way people could see it is that you are:

Talking in Guild Chat
Private Messaging a friend
They also have this mod

So if someone sees you swearing, don't worry about it.

And there is two places this exists:

really? I thought the chatfilter was only applied on sent data, not received data. Tiara even warns that everyone will not see ***

Other people will still see *** unless is is one of the three instances I stated before. I have tested this many times.

1. don't see what 200 CP players have to do with swearing, I guess your trying to make a point about the innocence that they have to the game in not knowing of the UG. 2.hmmm. you see the problem with this is that the text is modded but only for your side. I can't see there being anyway around making it global. They would have to have modded text for them to see it as well... you cannot globally mod the text, I am not ruling out the possibilities, but its slim that this instance can happen. The chat filter is all client side, so if its not modded you will not see the swear word.

ex: player 1 says-->shit-->XModX ->client input* ->global :server:*-> client output--> thus player 2 sees-->***
sorta a messy example but you get the point if there isn't anything on the other side to remove the filter then they will not and can not see it period.

You cannot go around global since its when relayed to their side into their game engine it is screened over. Now unless you can show proof I can't see this happening, but I want to be proven wrong. cause that would be awesome XD

what are you using if not using Moonshine or a other mod rghost? no contribution? share share -_-

I have myself tried this in many diff environments to try to see if others can see it but they cannot. rawk0r stated the only instances... no point in debate.... question has been answered.

i think someone has been duped by the fake 200 cp players that probely has main char with 1400 cp:)

but seriously ive tested the shit out of the chat filter
and sadly normely players cant see me telling them to fuck off:(

Hmm, I find this quite interesting. However, I want to ask, is it possible to do the same thing for other items instead of just "Slices of Meat" => "Friend summoning capsules" (e.g. "Branches" -> "Metal Dye Ampuole" or "Spirit Restoration Potions"?)

nope, all items are server-checked exept for the summon capsules

so you can do <imput item here> -> friend summoning capsules

but NOT <imput item here> -> <imput other item here>

This is not to say to stop trying, just that you need to think outside the box in your attempts. If you feel the urge, try different things, maybe you can get something to work! I never under estimate the power of luck.

EDIT: Just a side note, it would be 'input' not 'imput'.

Are you sure about this? That would practically make all attempts fail, no matter what really. I've done some modding in other games, but none on MMO's like Mabi, so modding here is quite new to me. I did however, took a look at the itemdb.xml and it seems complicated to an untrained eye. I understand that in order to, in this case, change an item to from say, branches to summoning capsules, one would have to basically copy and paste summoning capsules' syntax over that of the branches excluding the the branche's item ID?
