I want to change the picture of the drones in Darkorbit Remix 5.3.0.3 . Now is it that easy that I can just delete the iris sprites and copy the older iris sprites ?

Yes, but depend the format.
Exemple I change the pet lvl 10 to 15 chanching files XD
