Thread making

Hello epvp'ers.

I don't know how to start so I'll just start right away with the thing that bothers me.

EPVP is great site, but there are more and more scammers nowadays, who f*cks up the community. I think You should make some requirements for making a new thread (especially for trading subforums). Cuz it is ridiculous - guy is getting banned, next day he makes new account and starts the old shit once again. I think it would be nice if you put on such thing as : you must have at least 100 posts to make a new thread or something like that.

I'm sorry if something like this has already been here, but as far as I looked i couldn't find.

Best Regards.

And then?
User A meet the requirements and want to sell this Account in Game XY, so he creates a topic about that
User B want to scam him and wrote a pm to him, then User A got scammed because he doesn't read our trading tips

Your suggestion would not help User A in that case

furthermore we have such a subforum: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Only members with 300 posts and a 3 months registration time can access this forum. Those requirements can change from time to time.

Implement this at the whole BM could lead to many troubles in the future, starts with the spam ends with a scam, and the same cycle would repeat itself over and over. To meet the requirement post-count (100 - 200 ).. Isn't really hard for a user who's willing to scam. That's why there's the support section which helps you in such issues like these.

Quit simple.

You open a thread that you are looking for product x and you can open a thread as you meet the requirements.

Another User who would not be able to open a thread, as he doesn´t meet the requirements is writing you a PN to make an offer.

So you get scammed from the User who is writing you the PN.

People who get scammed here by those "no name" and new users will get scammed on every market place as they are not using their brain and are not reading the trading guides.

I had a lot of discussions with other members regarding scamming but my experience is all the time the same, most people doesn´t want to hear or they only want to hear what they want.

At the end they got scammed at the way they got warned by me... no rule and no guides can protect those members for scamming.

Ok, guys I see your concern and you might be right. Spam is never good and there could be a lot of spam cuz of that post limit.

And as you said - scammer will always find a way how to scam other person.

I just wanted to make something better but i suppose this wasn't the best idea.

I think we can close this thread?
