DC Unable to Reconnect Problem? :(

Hey,

Since RIOT is lazy and probably wont fix this issue, i've decided to make my first topic here on ElitePvpers.

So this happend:

1. Playing Ranked.
2. 5 Min in Game i get ~3990-4000+ Ping (125/20 down/up internet, never ever lagged before).
3. Cant move, Reconnect button appears.
4. Wait 10 min.
5. Restart client.
6. Says game is still running.
7. Trying to reconnect, FAIL.
8. 1.5h Later, says game is still running, but it isnt because i went to LOLNexus and was not able to see that the game was running (i searched for my teammates).
9. Have anyone here have/had this problem? Is there any solutions?

I had this issue as well some time ago. I just waited and waited and on the next day it would work again. I guess patience is your only solution

Happened to me last week - then i got a loss prevented.

What does it mean to be loss prevented?

Loss prevented means that you lost game but dont lose anything (e.g. lp if it was a ranked match).

Loss prevented means you pretty much dont lose mmr, and that is says "loss prevented" in your match history

You'll most likely get loss prevented. If you don't then I'd contact riot about getting a loss prevented, seeing as they're at fault and not you. There is a lot of posts on reddit discussing common problems.
