darkorbit old background ?

hey guys ,

i dont like the new client , and just wana asking about a way to get the old background back -.- to get the normal speed.Dont like the new one :D

Working on it ^^ But don't think I'll succeed because they use .atf files and I don't know how to open or edit them

EDIT: What you meant by speed? It's slower for your PC or the ship looks slower?

For me the ship looks much slower than it is.

I know that...it's just a visual thing, the stars on background moves slower than before and it looks like your ship is flying slower, am I right? Personally I think this is a bug of BigPoint and I don't think there's a way for me to fix it :)

I doubt there's any way to increase speed of stars on background
I wanted at least to change backgrounds back to old ones (would love too, new bg sucks), but main problem is that they started using .atf and .jxr files instead of good old .swf. Since I can't manage to open .atf file, I can't modify backgrounds unless editing .jxr files would help. :\

Ehm , your speed is the same (time from a gate to another remains the same)

What they did wasen't to make you look slower , but the stuff around you .

I mean , it's like being on a car ; When the speed is too high and you're on the back seat , you don't know either if it's exactly 200km , 250km , or something like that . you can only undestand major diffrences. You can look the things around you , how fast they/leaving and going only , and understand if you've been faster than before

Therefore with bigpoint , what you've thinked is that they made the ship slower .
Actually thinks around (yeah , the star , anything)is moving much faster so the time you need to surpass them is a bit more
