How to make a patch correctly?

Anyone know how to correctly make a patch I must be missing a way to correctly make an .XPZ

I'm not sure now, but did you included that header file?

And why would you make whole patch from the scratch? If you just want to use another patch, download it from the GC servers.

And maybe you need to encrypt file - isn't it?

Dont pack .XP .XPI again zip both of them and change the extention from .rar or .zip to . xpz

and make sure u built up the right path inside .XP cause the launcher identify a specific path, as i can recall /emprorofdragons/9Dragons/Data/Script.

refer back to one of G1's patch and observe how they built their path and dont forget to change the patch version and the launcher version from the login server

Edit:- It seems u didnt even pack quest scripts to SCR_Base, u messed things up

Like i said earlier disassemble an old patch from G1 and learn how to assemble a patch altogether, it isnt hard.

I saw inside patches it had patch.xp then patch .xpi I cant open patch.xp I get error with winrar maybe I open with quickbms?

I made patch file succesfully but I still get Data failed to update
I want to use a different SCR_BASE without getting data failed or changed but I dont know how

Note: The client does patch I just get error when I try to open game.

un pack ur scr base after patch and see if it updated it or it totally eeplaced it

Doesnt really matter now 9dpk launcher only way I can get in with working GG. It also updates my SCR_BASE and if I change it I get an error.
