Take control of flying mounts

Ever wanted to control your griffon or wyvern? With this exploit, you can!

Requirements: Large amounts of alcohol to get your character drunk. Doesn't matter what kind as long as it makes your character drunk and move in random directions.

1. Stand next to a flightmaster.

2. Drink until your character gets smashed to the point where instead of moving normally you move randomly.

3. Click on the flightmaster and pick a place to fly to.

4. During mid-flight the mount will move in random direction sometimes because you are drunk. If you happen to clip a wall or any kind of obstacle, you will gain control of the flying mount.

5. The game gets real laggy after this occurs. You will seem to warp from place to place. You will stay in this state until after you logout.

To control the mount without lagging (or, some lagging, but if you do this right you should be able to control easy)

I can move forward holding down right mouse button and left at the same time.
So I do that, and constantly repeatedly pressing and releasing S button on my keyboard (wich is my *move backwards* button) pretty fast.

Pressing and releasing S button in the correct speed while going forward will remove some, if not all, lagging.

Edit; I was able to get from Menethril Harbor to Ironforge pretty fast using this. And oh, watch out for falling from places, u cant stop lagging and you kinda 'sail' down slowly while lagging, and I died instantly when finally after a lot of lagging, hitting the ground.

From where did you start your flight? And where was your Destination?

Myself, I didnt use this bug, it just got bugged, but I guess the same thing will work with this one...

But yea, a good idea is to name a few locations where there are high posibilitys of clipping into wall or stuff like that? Because of the random direction thing I guess its pretty hard but name what path you took when you found the bug? ^_^

geht das auf die weise immer noch
gestern ist erst ein hordler (bin alli) in stormwind auf einem greif oder wie diese teile heissen rumgeflogen
konnte auch niemand angreifen also wie klappt
das und sah auch nicht so aus als hätte er lags
wenn ich in stormwind oder ironforge bin lags bei mir hab halt n shice rechner und andere sehen dann wie ich vor un zurück spring und kaum ein meter vorwärts komme würd gern wissen wie das funzt
hab das oben noch nicht probiert aber wenn da steht es lagt hab ich da angst um mein rechner der lagt beim fliegen auch so schon genug^^
werds jetzt mal probieren^^ EDIT: hat nicht wirklich geklappt hum

Wenn du als Jäger im Kampf bist, dich totstellst und dann einen Flug annimmst kannst du dich auch frei bewegen.

ok wie schaff ich es einen mob bis zum windreiter zu pulln mich totzustellen und dann zu fliegen brauch ich da einen von der andere fraktion oder?

in den epl gehts ganz gut, also mit dem totstellen

^^; Klingt gut aber ne Frage: ICh hab meinem Chara jetzt ohne Ende Alc reingeschmissen, is das so gemeint das wenn ich laufe das der dann mal ein wenig nach rechts und dann nach links beim laufen abschweift oder kommt man irgendwann zu dem punkt wo der auch ohne das man was macht der Chara rumlauft?
