People with HIGH TBM Ratings Scamming

Hello everyone,

Today I come to you with a serious issue. I'm not sure how many of you will even take this post seriously because it's written in English and this is a German forum. Either way, what I want to inform you guys about is there are people with high TBM ratings scamming innocent sellers in the market. Now, I personally was not a victim of this vicious act but my dear friend is. No names will be released in this thread because I do not want to be given an infraction.

So how did this person with high TBM ratings scam my friend? I'm talking 125 positive ratings and 0 negative ratings.

I'm going to tell you step by step what he did in detail.

1. He first added my friend on Skype to discuss the items he'd like to purchase. They discussed pricing and got into an agreement.

2. He then made a post in the thread of the items he wanted but the main purpose of this is to show my friend how many TBM positive ratings he has.

3. He proceeded to send a trade request and my friend accepted it.

4. Now this is the important part! This person selected the middle man option with the trade request. That means if a middle man does not enter the trade he is able to abort it.

5. Then my friend sends the payment first he literally has 1 rep.

Now before you say he should have used a middle man. Yes I understand where you're coming from but think about it from his perspective. Is as guy with 125 positive rep going to risk his account over a trade like this? probably not.

6. He received the payment and what did he do after? He removes the post that he originally made in my friends thread. Then he aborts the trade request even though it was accepted (the trick to abort is now have a middle man join the trade even though the trade was accepted).

Hopefully this will shed some light on the problem. Again I don't know how many people care but I felt the need to post this anyways. Will any moderator care? I don't know.
I think moderators can see the removed post in the thread? I don't know but we really need some justice here. Like my friend isn't asking for any compensation for the loss items but this person needs to be banned.

What should they care about? They can only repeat, what you can read everywhere: Use safe trading methods (no Skype), use a middleman, ask your trading partner for contact details and if you have been scammed anyway, use the The Black Market Support and complain to the police. I don't know what do you expect us to do / say now?
