With LaTeX you can create .tex files.
Now I can't remember if the .tex files were already compiled or not hm

You can use for example this editor: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I worked with latex and they're not compiled (they compile to pdf), since im in the Niki's folder i hope it's his texture cause im trying to export his model. i've tried to convert it to dds replacing the header but what i got is this:

Hm, that's nice, I've never worked with the .tex files or better to say never tried to export the models of FT back then :p

I wish you good luck with it, though there is no FT anymore ): :)

ty ^^ however the game is quite simple, thats why im trying to recover the character models and the music, anything else can be re-build :P

Haha that's true.
But if I were you, I wouldn't write a new engine for it(well NPICSOFT has his own game engine where they made FT) because writing a game engine is pain in the ass :D and there aren't a lot engines which principe is like the one from FT, cause most of them are open-world based^^

hehe i'll think about that when i have more free time :P
however, idk if someone cares (probably not), but here's my decoder for those .tex textures:

-music done
-textures done

i only need to decode the model now

We've already researched that too, that line is not the problem.
