Character load fix :D

OK for those of you who get the EP4 character Data Load Error....

Make sure you have these done in order

DOWNLOAD US SHAIYA (IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT CHECK HERE)
C://Aeria Games/Shaiya <---Standard instalation path

Copy and paste that SHAIYA FOLDER somewhere else for instance if u have 2 hard drives
D://Programs/Shaiya (rename it to EuroEP4) <--saves time

Make sure it is FULLY UPDATED SO RUN THE US UPDATER BEFORE THE NEXT STEP

Once that has done go to the main site [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and look for the EP4 patch its at the bottom with the clients ^^

Download and EXTRACT it in the EuroEp4 folder it will ask to overwrite 2 things Game.Exe and something else...Not sure what never looked lol...

After that is done USE Shaiya Updater German
that will connect you to the game...

Load it up (U will see the Sonov Logo thats normal)

When the startin movie has loaded enter ur id and pw

after thats done you should see EuroShaiya-EP4-Smooth etc etc

loggin in ur toon and done (be aware that some people experince problems with the first toon)
So make a second and use that to play

hope this helps those to lazy to go back through all the pages

(I KNOW IVE POSTED THIS IN THE EP4 BETA TOPIC BUT 90% OF THE PEOPLE THAT JOIN ARE GUNNA BISH ABOUT IT)

If this still dont work then ur pc is rejecting the software or you got moobs and the server hates you xD.

How to fix : Is very easy u need to reinstall shaiya US and after to put again the euroshaiya patch

ok the character load error you mean is only a simple bug which can be fixed by doing what you said.

but most people get the character laod error because they used the bypassed EP3 game.exe for the EP4-patch (e.g. at euroshaiya)!
that's not easy to fix...euro-admin said that's a problem with the DB:confused:

well did this and didnt do a dang thing. stil come to Character Load Error. so still searching for a way to fix it

Look at the date of the posts... 10-24-2009. Much changed in this space of time. Check your log files, they normally tell you what is wrong. A full explaination of error codes has been released somewhere in here. Good luck!
