A little help please!

So ive decided to start playing silkroad again after a very long leap of absence.(2 years)
Started on iSro and noticed a few things that caught my interest,there is no more drops, monsters do not drop gear enymore , they drop tokens and there seems to be no gold aswell , can someone please explain what happened, how can you find new gear and make gold?
What did i miss?


Also what is the difference between iSRO and Silkroad-R?

You can get free seal of star items from an NPC till 8th degree, and the tokens can be used to purchase everything you previously used gold for (pretty much), including sun items up till 8th degree, which are also sold from an NPC.
This is how the NPC's look like in Jangan. They'll also give you free potions, arrows etc. till 70

The major difference between ISRO and Silkroad-R nowadays is that on Silkroad-R you can only gain exp for 8 hours per day. So if you plan on botting, you might want to go for ISRO. There are a couple of additional differences, but the 8-hours exp cap per day is the most major difference.

After level 70 you will start gaining gold and items from monsters again. They removed the gold and items and replaced it with tokens in a hope to reduce gold-botting. The quests have been moved around as well and now give way better rewards (it's actually worth doing them).


A lot more has also changed, like the Chinese masteries: Light, Cold and Fire now all belonging to one mastery (if you upgrade the fire mastery, cold and light will also be updated).

Where are you playing / plan on playing by the way? I just recently started on Themis on iSRO.

As always, there is really no one strongest build. With that said, however, warrior/clerics are still very strong. I'm unsure about how the level 125 skill update will affect PVP, but Europeans got quite a few updated skills in this last update, whereas Chinese didn't get much.
I am still a strength archer, though. If there's one thing I've learned from playing Silkroad, it is that you shouldn't go with what you hear others say is best, but rather with what you believe will be most fun ;)

The three options you really have are: sbot, mbot, phbot.

Level 56 atm and 11k sp , rogue / cleric and didn't even used premium , from 1-56 without premium in 4 days its pretty impressive! :D
