It was never possible..
the bug was related to the archivment-rewards.
you had to buy your 8 iris and after that you had to invite someone to your outfit to get a ninth drone (the free flax)

That should be fixed like 2 years ago but idk
i've done that in 1 account and i had 9 flax and they deleted me 1 flax and banned me for some days,just like a bot user xd

Yea, I remember this oldie, but you get banned always if your uridium goes negative. (Plus ninth iris actually was possible even without bugs many years ago; It was a prize for a event and winner got it for few months, if I remember right? But if you got it w/ glitch you couldn't use it. It just appeared in your inventory as an invisible item.

There were another way for 9th iris : You have 7 iris , bet a huge price for the 8th iris (like 500 millions , none will overbit it )

at 01 you buy with uridium another iris , then you have 2 iris more and total 9

But when they understand you , then you're gonna get banned

The JP arena winner was having a 9th iris only , back on 2009-2010
